Peace Fest 2018

Join the Peace Fest celebration, a FUN FESTIVAL celebrating individual and global peace through meditation, community service, art, and food.  The science of Spirituality Meditation Center is organizing this community event on Saturday, June 23rd, 2018, 10 AM to 7 PM.  The event is being organized in collaboration with the City of Columbia Heights and City Police (CHPD) and several other community organizations.  It is part of the annual Jamboree event in the city.

Peace is a critical foundation of a happy community, a prospering state, and a thriving nation.  Peace touches every individual, as well as the entire globe in ways we cannot imagine or describe; however, we can all experience, rejoice and promote peace in our own ways.  Peace Fest is one of such efforts to recognize peaceful activities, appreciate and honor peace-promoting individuals and organizations and celebrate the peace we already have.  We also want to showcase the tremendous selfless work by many sung/unsung leaders of our country over hundreds of years.
